We are looking to recruit an outstanding and creative enthusiastic teaching assistant to work initially in Years 4, 5 and 6. The successful applicant should have experience of working with children within a classroom environment and be committed to improving the outcomes all pupils. We are looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to work each day during the afternoon between 11.30 and 3.30 Monday to Friday, term time only with additional training days on a pro rata basis. (Initially this role will involve supporting a child/group of children from 11.30 to 1.30 and then working in the classroom from 1.30 onwards). The position is permanent and will commence once DBS checks and references are obtained, as we are a safer recruitment school. Teaching Assistant working directly with children with additional needs
Salary: Point 3 Pro Rata
Hours: 11 hours, 40 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 1.10-3.30pm
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs within their class during afternoon sessions. This role is on a fixed term basis as it is covering a vacancy (initially for the Spring and Summer term 2020). The staff and governors at St Swithun’s are looking for applicants who will work tirelessly to build children’s self-confidence and inspire them in order that they reach their full potential.
