Drop In Coffee Morning/Toy Library
The school holds a drop in coffee morning and Toy Library each Wednesday morning during term time.
The coffee morning is for anyone to attend and is free of charge (8.50a.m.to 10.00a.m.). The toy library (9.00 a.m. to 11.15 a.m.) is for parents with young children and there is a small charge. There are numerous activities for the children to try, along with adult led song time and snacks provided for the children.
These sessions are run by Mrs Kate Surtees (family support worker).
Breakfast Club provides a healthy start to a child’s day. Breakfast club offers to different sessions.
8.00-8.50 – at a cost of £4.00 per day
8.30 – 8.50 at a cost of £1.20 per day.
Children are able to choose from a selection of healthy foods (cereal, toast, yogurt and fruit). Children who have had a good breakfast find learning much easier
If you would like your child to attend breakfast club, then please book via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will try to accommodate children on an ad hoc basis but cannot promise that places will be available.
Payments should be made via parent mail.
Our aim at St Swithun’s is to enrich your Childs school experience by widening the established curriculum with activities that take place outside the classroom.
If you would like your child to attend any of these activities please speak to their class teacher or the school office.
All clubs run by members of the school staff are free, those clubs run by Premier Sport are at a cost to parents/carers.
