EYFS Teacher

(to cover maternity leave)

St Swithun’s Church of England VC Primary School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic EYFS teacher to join our committed and hardworking team.

Administrative Assistant (two part-time roles)

 

Hours:              8.30 – 11.45

                           11.45 to 4.30

                           Both roles are Monday to Friday, Term time only, 5 inset days

 Salary:            NJC scale point 5

  

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised, polite and customer focused individual, to join our busy, friendly office team on a permanent basis. This is a varied and busy role, placing you as the first point of contact both by telephone and in person.

 

The school office offers a busy and interesting environment to the right candidate.  We are looking to appoint someone with strong communication skills and efficient administrative skills, who is able to multi task, remaining calm and welcoming at all times.

 

You need to be

 

  • A self-motivated person that has high standards and a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in the use of technology and management software systems, having the ability to learn new systems
  • Able to manage your own workload and have the ability to use your initiative
  • Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR
  • Upholding of our strong Christian ethos
  • Understanding of the school’s values and uphold these when interacting with children and staff

 

Applicants must be good team players, with a positive can-do attitude.  They must also be educated to GCSE level including English and Maths at grades A-C or equivalent.

Teaching Assistant  (NVQ Level 2)

 NJC Scale Point 3

 

Fixed term contract for one year (September 22 to July 23)

 

 Do you feel passionately about the teaching and learning of children with special needs and are you prepared to strive to enable every pupil to achieve their full potential?

 

We are looking to recruit an outstanding, creative and enthusiastic Level 2 teaching assistant to work in our autism provision. The successful applicant should have experience of working with children with SEN and be committed to improving the outcomes of young children with autism.

 

You should have experience of working in either a mainstream classroom or similar provision. This post is for 27.5 hours a week, term time only plus 5 training days.

 

The position is for a fixed term and employment will commence once DBS checks and references are obtained, as we are a safer recruitment school. We would encourage you to visit and experience our school for yourselves.
